Our goal is to provide early orthodontic intervention for children, so that treatment can remain as conservative as possible. Palatal expansion and growth modification can sometimes eliminate the need for braces later on, as it allows teeth to erupt properly into space on their own. This also helps eliminate the need for extractions associated with traditional types of orthodontic treatment. Dental extractions are often needed when orthodontics are put off until later, and can cause TMJ complications later on.
In addition to offering traditional braces, we also provide Invisalign orthodontic treatments to our patients. This is an especially popular method of treatment for our adult patients that want to straighten their smiles. Invisalign patients require fewer appointments, making it a great option for our adult patients with busy schedules.
We utilize neuromuscular orthodontics that helps restore proper function to the TMJ, by correcting the way teeth in the opposite jaws bite against one another. Correcting the occlusion patterns is an effective, non-invasive approach to solving the discomfort and symptoms associated with TMJ disorders.
